Your Email Is Judged Before It Is Read
A good campaign can still fail before anyone reads it.
Mailbox providers evaluate sender identity, authentication, alignment, reputation, sending patterns, links and audience behaviour long before a person sees the subject line. For Mautic users, that means deliverability is not just an email setting. It is operational infrastructure.
This practical talk explains what marketers, implementers and admins need to understand about SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DMARCbis, domain alignment and the wider trust layer around the inbox. The goal is not to turn marketers into DNS specialists. The goal is to show why Mautic campaigns need sender trust before campaign quality has a chance to matter.
Panel: Keeping Mautic Strong for the Future: What Makes Open Source Last?
Open source has never been more important, yet the foundations that make open source projects thrive are under pressure.
AI is changing the landscape, with new opportunities but also new challenges. Regulations such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act are adding to the workload. Cultural changes and economic cycles affect funding and corporate participation as well as contributions from individuals.
So how can we make open source - and Mautic - last?
This panel discusses the specific situation that Mautic is in, but also ponders the critical factors behind successful, resilient open source projects (even if far outside the mainstream), and how contribution and financial support can be developed for the future.
The goal is not to predict the future of open source, but to explore how we can help shape it :)
The Priest Who Built a Bank
After the Spanish Civil War, a young priest arrived in a poor Basque industrial town. He did not start by founding a company. He started with a school. Then came a cooperative. Then a bank. Then an ecosystem.
This talk uses the story of Mondragón to ask a question that sits close to Mautic’s own promise: if we want organizations to be free from vendor lock-in, what has to exist so that freedom can actually stand?
Mautic gives teams a way to keep control of their marketing infrastructure and customer memory. But sovereignty is not held up by code alone. It needs maintenance, funding, governance, trust and a community willing to build the less glamorous parts of independence.
This is not a fundraising speech. It is a story about what freedom costs when it becomes infrastructure.
