Speaker FAQs

  • How long are the sessions?

    All sessions are 30 minutes, with 15 minutes for Q&A and transition to the next speaker after the presentation.

  • What format / size / resolution must my video be in?

    When you provide your pre-recorded session recording, it must be the raw file, ideally on a cloud hosting service, without any lower thirds or other effects as these will be applied by our video team.

    The maximum size for your video is 1.5GB and it must be in .mp4 format.  

    Pre-recorded videos are played at 720p on the Airmeet platform.

  • What timezone is used?

    Our base timezone for the event is UTC, and any times that we mention in official communications will always be referenced in UTC. If you need to convert it to your timezone we are big fans of everytimezone.com.

    The agenda; session pages and our app should pick up your local timezone and show you the times in your local timezone.

  • Will I present live?

    In Mautic Conference Global 2022, speakers can decide whether to provide a pre-recorded session or to present live. If you provide a pre-recorded session you must provide the recording no later than the deadline specified. For 2022 this is:

    FRIDAY, 27th MAY 2022

    If your recording is not received before the close of play on this date, your session will need to be delivered live or withdrawn from the schedule. This is due to the time it takes our volunteers to prepare the videos for use in the event platform.

  • What technology will be used to present?

    We will be using Airmeet to organise and run the event.

    You will be invited to a dry-run session with the team, which we strongly recommend you attend.

  • Where can I add my pronouns (and what does this mean)?

    We ask that all speakers add their pronouns to their Sessionize profile if they feel comfortable doing so by editing your profile.

    You will also have the option to add and modify your pronouns on your Airmeet profile.

    We anticipate around 500 attendees plus speakers, team and sponsors.

    The event is being held fully virtually, using Airmeet.

  • Who will be attending Mautic Conference?

    This is our World Conference, so we are welcoming anyone with an interest in Mautic and Marketing Automation in general to attend the event. This will likely include:

    • Mautic users
    • Mautic administrators/maintainers
    • Agencies using or interested in offering Mautic
    • Mautic developers
    • Marketers
    • Email delivery specialists
    • Mautic community contributors

    There will be multiple tracks running simultaneously throughout the day, some of which will be in languages other than English.

  • How do I get a ticket to attend?

    You can purchase a ticket through the event page once it is made available.

  • How much does it cost to attend?

    The answer to this is, whatever you are able to afford.

    We have several different tickets to meet the needs of all, which enables us to cover the costs of running the event. Any profits go directly back to supporting the Mautic Community, so the more you pay for your ticket, the more you're supporting the community.

  • What can I expect from the Mautic Conference experience?

    The event will feature

    • Multiple tracks running throughout the day with a range of topics being covered
    • Opportunities for networking 
    • Sponsor booths with an opportunity to chat with providers of Mautic services
    • An opportunity to get involved with giving back to Mautic with our community sprints
  • Will the sessions be recorded?

    Yes, all sessions will be recorded in real-time and videos will be available during the event within the event platform if you want to watch one that you missed.

    We will do some post-production work before uploading them to our YouTube channel after the event.
